Eco-drivng
“ Eco-driving’ is a specialist driving technique that reduces fuel consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and accident rates.
Here at the Atlantic Star Driving School, we instruct by example; teaching our students to use their car in a safe and environmentally-friendly manner.
Techniques include:
▪ Reducing drag
▪ Rev and speed control
▪ Advanced safety
The average annual mileage for drivers is 12,000 miles. Typically, this would cost approximately £1,272 (10.6 pence x 12,000). Eco-friendly costs, as taught by Atlantic Star, are, on average, £840 (7p x 12,000). That’s a saving of £432!
