Offering affordable intensive driving courses within the Manchester area
If you'd like to pass your driving test in as short a time as possible, you may consider an intensive driving course as opposed to weekly 1-2 hour lessons. In many cases, an intensive driving course not only enables pupils to pass within a shorter timeframe, but also lets them save on lesson costs.
Atlantic Star is a leading driving school catering to pupils of all abilities within the Manchester area. If you're a learner driver, here's why we think you could benefit from an intensive course:
A typical intensive driving course takes place over 1-2 weeks on consecutive days and involves around 4-6 hours' practical driving each day. If you think this sounds demanding, you'd be correct...and that's why it works!
During a standard one hour lesson, a pupil will take some time to re-adjust to driving. The most learning usually takes place during the middle section of the lesson and the pupil's concentration levels may taper off when they know the end of the lesson is approaching. What's more, with a week elapsing between each lesson, pupils will often forget some of the things they have learned.
With an intensive course, things are different. You'll have much more time to focus on your practical driving and will encounter many more scenarios due to the extended lesson time. This will allow you to gain more experience within a shorter timeframe. As you'll be back in the driving seat the very next day, you should retain the skills you've learned, allowing you to move forward without delay.
Atlantic Star Driving School offers affordable intensive driving courses with experienced, DVSA approved instructors. Lessons are available from just £20 per hour. The number of hours required will depend on your level of experience.
